Crystal Wolves, Manchester based 5 piece rock band, Charlie Morris (Drums), Lucy Everitt (Guitar), Electra Asithianaki (Vocals), Harry Darbyshire (Guitar), Coby Gibson (Bass). This band are a fresh new perspective of rock, with inspirations from the classics like Bon Jovi and Motley Crue, amongst many others.

'Break The Chains' is the 5 piece's first debut single, giving insight into exactly who this band are. Energetic, classic rock with a modern age twist that incorporate vastly enjoyable drum beats, throbbing bass, alongside hypnotising guitar riffs and a set of outstanding vocals. Within this 4 minutes 44 seconds song, the guitar solo that is roughly 3 minutes in, instantly gives listeners a classic taste of rock with a fresh taste for something more. The interval that is stereotypical of this genre, in this song creates a tension building bridge with its memorable chord progression that leads seamlessly into the guitar solos of Harry and Lucy. Harry takes the first turn of solos with his riffs that transitions into the roaring riffs of Lucy, who was the brains behind this banging tune. Which solo was the best? That is too much of a hard decision, equally where as enjoyable as the next.

An inviting introduction of instruments, starting with guitar progressing to the vocals which makes and attention grabbing start to a highly energetic track. To match this, the outro is the echoy last strum of the guitar, ringing out and gives the feel of continuity throughout the intro to the outro. To add the icing on the cake as some may say, the vocals are the feature that pulls the song together with likeable harmonies that match the overall tone of the main vocals and add a definition to the song that takes the tune to the next level. All in all, Crystal Wolves are the up and coming band to look out for. Their passion for music and the art they create, is enough to be anyone's fascination. They are certainly a hard working bunch of artists who as a collective bring something to the table.
